A shared meal, a conversation at a stand, the first song in front of the stage: these moments create the connection that drives us. We bring generations together and give culture, artists and businesses a place to meet people in person.
Our journey
From first encounters to a European story.
What began in North Rhine-Westphalia now connects cities across six countries. Every location is part of our story, and every visit brings new memories.
- 2018
The first encounters
Our event story begins at the Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen and the Europahalle in Castrop-Rauxel.
- 2019
Kazel Expo takes shape
Kazel Expo becomes a brand and festival format in 2019. More locations in Germany and the Netherlands follow, including Ahlen, The Hague, Düsseldorf and Gorinchem.
- 2020–21
Staying connected
Bremen and The Hague remain part of our journey through a period of considerable challenges.
- 2022
New cities, new encounters
Essen, Ghent and Utrecht join our route. Each new city introduces more visitors to Kazel Expo.
- 2023
The festival keeps growing
Den Bosch and Augsburg become part of our story. Returning events deepen our connection with visitors.
- 2024
Across more borders
Basel, Zurich and Berlin join the journey. Individual stops grow into a European festival story.
- 2025
More places to share moments
Münster, Karlsruhe and Wiener Neustadt expand our presence, bringing Austria into our story.
- 2026
Our journey continues
Antwerp, Dortmund and London are now among our past locations too. We continue developing Kazel Expo with the same love of culture and connection.
